Learn more about installing DB2 for z/OS on a remote
Linux server. In this scenario, Portal Express is installed on an
Linux server. After installing DB2 for z/OS, you must also apply
any required DB2 fix packs. Refer to the Detailed system requirements
to ensure you have applied the required fix packs for DB2.
To use DB2® for z/OS® as
the database software for WebSphere® Portal Express®, you must have DB2 for z/OS installed on
your z/OS system.
